The Self Storage Company – Launch. Waltham Abbey

The Self Storage Company launches the first of fifteen planned self storage centres in the UK in Waltham Abbey, after appointing James Taylor Development to oversee the project.

The site, formally known as the ‘OEP Building’ a combination of 1990 warehouse and a 1950’s workshop space were acquired in derelict and burnt state. The site was streamlined through the planning process, further building on James Taylor Development good relationships with local authorities to see the site undergo extensive restoration and renovation. The outcome a state of the art storage facility strategically located in Waltham abbey with frontage to the M25.

The facility now offers 50,000 square feet of storage space over of ground, first and second floor, with rooms of varying sizes, office and lift facilities.

The second stage of the development is currently under planning to offer 4 light industrial units, adjacent to the storage facility.

James Taylor Development have commenced work at a second site in Welwyn, the second edition to The Self Storage Company and strongly solidifying there intent to become a big contender in the Self Storage industry.
